I bought this for my 7yr old grandson. It left him very disappointed as after following the project instructions the only result he had was 'buzzing noises' The boys father works in electronics which assures me that the instructions had been carefully followed. The product was a waste of money and postage cost. I would not recommend it.

OK, the idea is great and, I would expect, very educational... if it worked.
First experiment : Light a bulb. Followed instructions which includes making number connections with wires squeezed between the coils of a twangy spring... All OK except nothing happened. Check everything... twice... and nothing. Finally took the plastic off the battery connectors to find a loose wire. Fixed and bulb lights... Great.
Second experiment : Make a buzzer sound. Followed instructions (including errata info)... nothing. Check everything... twice... three times... nothing.
"Easy to use"? maybe... easy to get to work... not really. I am guessing we have a fault but the build quality seems pretty shabby.
