John A. Holten is an author and editor living in Ireland. He currently has four titles on the Amazon Kindle - two novels, KILLING THE SHADOWS and RAINING BLOOD OR SCARE, he originally wrote when he was a teenager; and two recent horror short stories - CARNIVAL CONVALESCENCE and SNOWDOMED. He has published other stories in various collections. John also served as an editor and contributor on his father, Anthony Holten's, books - A STROKE OF LUCK, WHERE TOLL ROADS MEET, and ON ANCIENT ROADS. John spent much of his early twenties working in a bookshop, a call center and a travel agency, before returning to university to complete his English degree. He graduated from University College Cork with a BA in English. John is currently hard at work on a new novel.
