5.0 out of 5 stars best fasch so far 20 April 2007
By gabrial
(With works like these that are unlikely to appeal to neophytes, I just indicate whether the recording is good and repertory as well-chosen or planned as it might be). This is the best JFF record I have - nice to have vocal and instrumental (70 mins of wind converti, no matter how good, is unimaginative planning). The cantatas are glorious - the semi-gallant, 'mellifluous' style typical of Graupner, Graun and some CPE. The instr. works are surprising enough to keep one guessing
