Joemus is yet another great release from Momus (Nick Currie).
This time he collaborates with Jow Howe (Germlin) and they have created a multi-textured album.
As always, each song has a different style and the ever present Momus wit is as outstanding today as it has always been.
This is a must buy for any Momus fan and would be a great start for any new fans.

this is probably my favorite among the american patchwork releases. What came after this holds real well to the quality of this while also not being the same. Joemus just has a certain potency and pop, while Momus can tend to veer in a subtle direction production-wise with his tracks (no complaints,it's just different). I wonder if he'll ever collaborate with howe again, I'm sure his fans noticed there was a run on Fashion Flesh material for a bit. At any rate, he doesn't need to because his last three albums have been impressive, fun, and thought provoking.

Momus is my favorite modern musician... he innovates like few others, cracking open new genres with every song. He also seems to get BETTER as he get older, a rare trait among musicians. This is a great album! My favorite track is "Thatness and Thereness"!
