I heard about the show a while ago, a girl who talked to God and I didn't rush to catch it. What a mistake.
After catching the reruns of season one on E4 I've fallen in love with Joan Of Arcadia, its easing my Buffy withdrawl. Bottom line: watch it on E4, if you like it: buy it.
It truly is a great show.

This may come across as a typical American drama. Push past the streotypes and you will find a real gem of a series. A little God, mixed up with comedy and science. There is no preaching just life and choices. The basis for the series rings true. The characters are complex but aren't we all. If God was around who would believe the person who was talking to him, is this not a sad reflection on society, even for the non-religious. I find the programme to be uplifting, it makes you look around the world and the difference you can make to it; the domino principal. Enjoy..
