My Dad asked me to order this for him after seeing the Demo from Tommy Walsh. We had really high hopes for this product and it seemed just the job for taking the neck and back strains out of painting walls and ceilings.

Don't be fooled!!! The pads disintegrate quickly then leave little blobs in the paint as the foam breaks up. The pads drop off the pole so make sure you cover the floor (and your head)and you can't seem to buy refill packs of just the large pads which incidentally are about the only things that just about work.....on flat walls albeit for a patchy finish.

We would advise you not to bother with this product. My Dad still ended up with a bad neck as he had to go over his bedroom ceiling four times!

I have never felt the urge to write a review before. But this paint system is such a load of rubbish that I wanted to voice my total hatred for it. Most of it has already been said by others......it puts the paint on way too thick, it cant cope with thicker, branded paint (it might cope better with cheap and nasty own make stuff...but I dont use that rubbish ), it doesnt do up to the edges, it throws paint all over the floor, and me!!! ...all in all its just a load of rubbish.

As someone else stated...I wanted to rate this with zero stars, but it wouldnt let me.

I have just used the paint pad pro. I rolled and took excess paint of the pad before applying to the wall. I had watched the demonstration which Tommy does on TV before buying.
What I have ended up with :
1. Ceiling which I will have to redo properly with a roller. (this does not edge as they claim).

2. Paint still dropped off the end of the pad, (this is not non drip, which they claim). You will have to clean the paint of the floor .

3.Poor uneven coverage, so you will have to re paint the walls, using a traditional roller. It was uneven, patchy, even when I went over it again and again.

I now have wasted the money on this product and will not only have to re do the walls using a traditional roller, but also the ceiling which previously didn t need repainting. Please do not buy this product, it is complete junk, mine is in the bin as I write.

It should not be allowed to be sold, the wheel that is used to load the pads sits into 2 slots and the the 2 prongs that locate into these slots are very short so any pressure (& i do mean any pressure) they slip out and therefore are not fit for purpose. As for edging around cieling and skirting boards its a joke it chucks paint every ware so in the long run creats more work. The paint that is meant to be picked up by the revolving wheel ends up being approx 1/8 inch + in the bottom of the reservior which was enough for me to hand paint the end wall of my hallway. So save yourself some money and buy a roller and end up with a better less frustrating result & no dent to your ego for being stupid enough to buy kind of crap. If my stupidity stops somebody else suffering the same fate then some good will have come out of my mistake in purchasing such shody poorly crafted equipment. If you are stupid enough to buy this just bin it when it arrives, it will be the best thing you could do with it in my opinion.

I found this product really easy to use, great coverage and very quick. I also found it much easier to clean than brushes and rollers. However, it was not as simple as it suggested when doing edges and corners, i couldn't get right in to the spaces and i certainly painted some skirtings!
I will continue to use it for convenience but if you're looking for that spotless finish advertised, you may want to look at other things.

Bought this, as I had to do a large hallway, and my old paint pads were over the hill.

What a mistake that was!. This set is totally useless on any form of embossed wallpaper, as it is a solid foam pad, not one that has any flocking on the pad bottom, and it also simply soaks the paint up, and it stays in the pad. As for edging, this is hopeless, as it doesnt come near to the bases edge, so you still have to use a brush to do your edging, and for corners too.

I have, (as another reviewer has done) thrown this rubbish in the bin, and suggest that others stay clear of this product!.

Also, other reviewers seem to be confused a tad about this product, as they mention a Tommy Walsh ad in their text, but let us make it plain that this item ISNT the same as the Tommy Walsh one, (Paint Pad Pro), which has the flocked pads which are needed for embossed papers, but a cheaper copy.
