The one I bought had also got a radio (a bonus for me when I'm running). Don't know whether this is the same one, but if it is, the reception on the radio is poor and you can't choose the station or scan at all. The rest of the functions work ok, but the accuracy of the distance walked/ran is a little doubtful. If you have the talking option on, she (with that American accent only machines can have!) makes you jump every time she speaks. I had to turn it off!

Very Dissapointing 1 Jun 2005
Bought this from my local Woolworths yesterday, and after having set the stride length, weight etc. I was dissapointed to note that after having walked to work today it had decided to reset the step length to zero. I walked around the office and noted i had walked 1076 steps then checking again slighter later noted that it had rest itself to zero again. Not the best item on the market needs a bit of improvement.

I was very pleased with the item considering the price. The radio is not of perfect quality but if I wanted a radio I would not purchase a pedometer. The item counts steps, calories, time and distance and the speech is loud and clear. Does the job well.
