5.0 out of 5 stars White Belt To Green Belt Jiu Jitsu 25 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Awesome Book! A must buy for anyone who is studying Jui Jitsu. The photo's are close up and very clear. It's easy to understand and is great to see the techniques being learned in the Dojo demonstrated in this book. A very useful tool to have helping any student to remember each individual technique in detail. i.e Where to place your hands, feet, strikes, locks etc.
I own many Jui Jitsu books and this is by far the best one out there. I look forward to purchasing the rest of the series.

4.0 out of 5 stars good but...... 5 Aug 2006
Format:Paperback
This is the book you need for the wjjf syllabus, it is spot on, the only thing that lets it down is the lack of the specific orange belt,if you`ve seen the syllabus, yellow straight to green is a big jump.if your learning jiu jitsu this is a must, accurate and informative.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for beginners 25 Oct 2001
By Iain
Format:Paperback
An all round good book showing with detailed pictures and text what is happening in each technique. I have been training for 3 years and this is one of the best beginner books there is. Excellent for more advanced students as well, who want to refine their technique. My girlfriend now has my copy of this book and it is the only Jiu Jitsu book I have recommended to her. Good for home training but better used when attending a club as well. Truelly one of the best!

4.0 out of 5 stars The best Jiu Jitsu manual available 20 Dec 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
This is a really excellent book. I recommend that this book is bought by Jiu Jitsu students. Anyone wanting to learn Jiu Jitsu should use the book with lessons. The illustrations are excellent and the author explains the techniques brilliantly. One or two photos are from the wrong side however they are still explained easily.
An excellent book and essential purchase to any Jiu Jitsu student.

This book and the subsequent two books in the series provide useful guide for jitsuka. The techniques demonstrated for the various grades although standard Ju Jitsu techniques will vary between association and Ryu. You cannot teach yourself Ju Jitsu using these guides but you will be able to see some of what is required to progress through the ranks.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best book of the series 10 Jan 2000
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
This is the second of the three books I am reviewing. It is another complete set of brilliantly taught and displayed techniques. This book also gives reference to techniques in the first book to revise. I advise that the first book is purchased before buying this one. Look at the review for the first book
