The creator of the delightful Percy the Park Keeper books, Nick Butterworth, has created a superb festive story. Lottie and Jack are two mice who live in a barn and whose lives are made a misery by That Cat. That Cat has stolen all their Christmas stores and made sure they get no visit from Father Christmas. Something must be done, so Lottie and Jack pay a visit to a wise old rat and a solution to the problem is found.
Nick Butterworth is one of today's leading children's authors and illustrators who has combined exquisite illustrations with warm and humorous text to create a picture storybook which may well become a Christmas classic. (Ages 0 to 5 years.) -- Philippa Reece

Christmas doesn’t look too promising for the two mice Lottie and Jack with that Cat hanging about and spoiling their fun. When Cat writes a note informing Father Christmas that the mice have gone away for Christmas, Lottie and Jack decide to consult the clever rat Ton-Chee. Hers is a humorous solution which ensures that the mice will know when Cat is preparing to create havoc.
