I was bored last week, surfing for films, when I discovered 'Jimmy and Judy'. This movie is a raw look at teenage love, obsession, angst, pain and rejection. Both leads are actually married in real life, so their chemistry is very organic, and because of this, their performances are so compelling that the shoestring budget the film was made on, not only doesn't mar your experience, but makes you forget about it all together. In a nutshell, it's nihilistic handycam 'Natural Born Killers' for the 21st century, only a lot more morbid and believable. Who would have thought John Connor and the "Ask your mom where she keeps the Vicodin" girl from 'The Ring', would produce this. One of my favourite films of 2007.
