Probably the best comedian of a generation.....Jim Jeffries steps up to the mark and delivers a veritable assault on the senses saying what others dare not even think. Side splittingly funny and on top of his game. His latest DVD Alcoholocaust is a must have. If you get the chance to see him live don't miss it...."There wasn't a dry hole in the house". Highly recommended but don't take your mum...unless you hate her then deffo take her it will be a blast....fantastic

I read a review of a different Jim Jefferies DVD which described him as an Australian Frankie Boyle. This is not true. This is nothing like the dross Frankie Boyle is producing these days.
No, what you get with Jim Jefferies is a brutally honest Aussie comic. If some of his stories are shocking its because life occasionally is shocking. Shockingly funny too. Shockingly rude as well. But I don't think I've ever met a drunken Australian who isn't. Thats not being stereotypical. The only drunken Australians I have ever met have been both rude and funny. Perhaps I ought to widen my circle of friends, but why? They aren't violent, so good luck to them.
Anyway, on with the DVD. I watched this with my wife, who is not so keen on swearing. She laughed herself silly throughout though. It was a bit like early Billy Connolly (when he was still funny) but a bit ruder. And he makes some valid points about our own morality too. I won't say what they were, as it will spoil it for you.
And the set contains an masterclass on how to tell a joke which involves a disabled person but doesn't patronise the disabled person or attack them.
Much better than most of the comedy DVDs around at the moment. They will seem very jaded in comparison once you have watched this.

Unless you are a miserable human being with zero sense of humour, or even if you are - this is a must watch! Jim Jeffries is a comedic genius who has never failed to make me cry with laughter. If you don't like swearing, get over it. This man will push you to the limit with his colouful language but his energy and delivery are second to none. After watching this, I have forced pretty much all of my friends to sit down and watch it with me, all of whom have been doubled over in hysterics. The topics this man incorporates into his show might be seen as somewhat socially/politically unpc which makes it all the better. For too long, people have been afraid to say what they think - but not Jim! Do yourself a favour - bring some happiness into your life and get this. "Why ride on the swings when you've already been to Disneyland?!"
