I am a landscape, event, and commercial photographer. My photos and articles have been published in books, magazines, newspapers, calendars, tourist and promotional brochures, corporate reports, and on Web sites for corporations and non-profit organizations. My first break was doing sports and human events photography and writing articles for the Yukon Review in Oklahoma. My teaching experience (workshops, classes, and seminars) includes seven years on the faculty of the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts in Michigan where I taught general and nature photography.

Digital Photography Exposure for Dummies is my first full-length photography book. I love photography, and I love watching the light go on as other photographers discover new ways to do things to improve their photography. I hope you have a great time reading my book and an even better time going out with your camera and trying what you've read. Most of all, sometime in the future I hope you look back and say, "Wow! Look how far I've come!"
