5.0 out of 5 stars In the tradition of "This is the house that Jack built" 5 Oct 2008
By Z Hayes - Published on Amazon.com
"Jack and Jill's Treehouse" is an appealing cumulative read-aloud that is written in the tradition of "This is the House that Jack Built." It is a simple story about Jack and Jill's efforts in building their very own treehouse and is beautifully illustrated in color by Henry Cole, with the text written by Pamela Edwards. The cumulative style makes for an easy read-aloud and is also enhanced with features such as highlighted words and pictures that act as a cue to young readers.

All in all, this is a delightful read for all youngsters who love treehouses, who dream of having their own treehouse and for little ones listening to a parent or older sibling read-aloud to them.

My grandaughters love this story. They supply the new features to the treehouse on each page. They love the interaction and so do I.
