So, You've a router, and a table saw,and probably loads more tools, before you start building things,(Like a bookcase or a house) you need some practise on using the kit. Watching Norm Abram is no substitute for switching things on and using them. This is the one of the best woodworking books I've read, and I'm a self-confessed bookaholic, and it is excellent. Loads of projects with sized diagrams and pictures on useful things to make that will build your confidence and produce things that you can use again and again in the future. Written by enthusiasts for enthusiasts

Excellent book, especially if you already have a bench saw & router, but want some home made jigs that are actually useful. Full of easy to understand plans of jigs and aids for use with bench saws and routers (in American jargon) but very easy to follow. From simple jigs to more advanced.

Jigs & Fixtures
I have studied one or two of the articles inside, and they seem to be quite useful. Though I guess that anything that I build will not look as fancy as the glossy pictures inside.
