Slip Up 13 Sep 2007
By Toby W.
This is a re-packaged version of the DVD which accompanies the remastered "A" album. I believe it has been available for some time in this format in Europe, as I purchased it in Norway believing it was new, previously unreleased concert material as the cover would suggest. The video itself is a movie of sorts compiled from studio & concert material. It is segued with studio effects and clips of Ian Anderson posing as a down and out tramp, a revisit of his character first explored in Aqualung. Is the film supposed to be arty? Is there a point? Disappointing really as the concert footage from the superb "A" tour is great. Unfortuately it has been spoiled, and shame it has been re-hashed & re-peddled

Just to confirm that Slipstream is some 25 years old and was great when first issued - Tull's first video.
However, it is now included in the A cd (REMASTER) as a bonus item and is good value on that basis, and, of course, the music is excellent. However, it is a cheat to repackage Slipstream with a cover dating back to 1970 or so.

This is probably the same as that which was recently released with The remastered 'A' CD but rather bizarrely features a rather dated front cover image that bears no resemblance to the featured concert footage.
