I do alot of cycling, walking and fishing and was fead up lugging a thermos flask around on the chance I would want a cup of tea/coffee/soup. One of my mates bought one of these for when out cycling - the rest of us became instantly jealous, he could make a fresh brew in two mins with little effort.
These stoves are awsome. A 100g Jetboil / coleman / primus gas cartridge (found these work best in this order, cheaper ones work in the summer but the gas mix in these works all year round), fits inside the Jetboil along with stabilizer legs and the alternate pan support for use when using a small frying pan etc.
You can cook using the pan support but the jetboil is best for boiling water for drinks/soup/noodles/rice/boil in bag/rehydrating - and lets face it, not to many are going to be wanting to gourmet cook when out and about - light, quick and simple being key words here.
The system goes together and comes apart to store with ease, the electronic lighter works well BUT ALWAYS pack a lighter and some waterproof matches (this applies to any stove!)
The price on amazon is expensive as are most shops walking/camping shops - pay around 70-80 pounds including postage on ebay.
On to a bag for storage - in the USA alot of users keep theirs in a maxpedition 12x5 bottle holder - NICE - until you see the price in the UK 45-50 quid!!!
If using a backpack/bergen/webbing a jetboil fits nicely in a Britich army PLCE utility pouch.
I personally use a British Army PLCE S10 gas mask bag (loads on ebay from a fiver used to a tenner brand new), they can be used on a belt/webbing or as a haversack. They hold a Jetboil flash, a litre waterbottle (could fit in a couple), a can or two of gas (holds 250g cannisters nicely) and all your brew kit with ease.

Nice stove, compact all fits inside itself ready to go.

Now take it with me on all kinds of trips from car travel Saves a fortune on Motoway coffee shops, I have a Small Bodium cafetiere coffee press £4.00 in a supermarket

Kayaking fits nicely in the kayak, walking hiking, camping, You just brew up when you like, The pot stand is good too with a mess tin or the like. It pretty much stays in the Car ready for the next weekend away. You can even put boil in bag "look what i found meals straight in it with some water.

i used this recently and cannot fault it. It is easy to assemble and disassemble, heats up very quickly and the flash option changes colour to indicate when it has boiled. I was able to cook 'boil in the bag' foos very quickly and used the water to make a hot drink.
highly recommended and the delivery from Germany took the same time as UK post.

My son asked for the Jetboil for Xmas and has been so pleased with it that he uploaded a comparison video to Youtube. It boils in record time with no loss of residual heat and is therefore very economical.

Not really alot to say apart from it's awesome, compact, non-stick, well made and boils so fast. There is next to no weight in the jetboil so ideal for in the rucksack when cycling. We were in the middle of a forrest, on a bench drinking fresh hot coffee after riding for an hour, and people were going past saying that they wished they had thought of that! Recommened 10/10 ...if anything its a shame the gas didn't fit in side the jetboil as well, but looking at the plastic foldout base that holds the gas, it accomodates three different sizes of gas so maybe shopping around and i'll source a gas to canister to go in side. So what are you waiting for ..go buy one!

I made this purchase at request of my son, I had not heard of them, however he wasn't. Expecting a camo one, he was very impressed with it, it lit quickly and easily and he liked the colour change when water was a temp

Brilliant bit of kit, brings water up to 60 degrees really quickly and a boil in the bag meal fits in it too, we can even fit half a j-cloth and 2sachets of coffee, sugar and creamer in as well 😊
