Is this another F-22 or F-18 game? Well, yes and no. These 2 types are your options and they do the job pretty well, though the cockpits and graphic details are spare (the external views are in low visibility grey colourings anyway), so it has more of a gamey feel. The landscape (Arctic) looks cold and flashes past at a good speed, with targets on the ground well camoflaged, not sicking out for all to see as in other games.

When it is loaded you have to configure the program to your PC system, its a bind as most others games configure themselves.

The missions are Navy based so the option of taking off ánd landing on a carrier are there, with good graphic details of the ships, with other aircraft and even deck hands. The sea looks cold too.

As for the Mig-42, well there is no plane in reality (Ever noticed how all MiGs have ODD numberings?), so this is all a fiction. Otherwise the game has enough to make it a Simulation, especially as it has clouds and jet vapour trails in the sky which are often missing in such programs.
