...and so it ends... 11 July 2008
By I. R. Barnes VINE™ VOICE

I didn't know anything about Jericho, hadn't even heard of it until I saw an advert for the first season DVD release. It looked good and reading up about it sounded like a great idea for a TV series, so into my shopping basket it went! I wasn't disappointed! This is a great apocalyptic adventure series with equal parts action and drama and isn't too heavy considering the subject matter. However it is yet another high quality series that has been cancelled just when it was only scratching the surface of it's potential! This second season was a result of a massive fan campaign to conclude the show, so we have seven episodes that continue on from the end of the first season and at the same time introduce a new story arc that unfortunately is a little too big to confine within the seven episodes. It's a story that needed a lot more episodes to explore and expand its scope. That said however the quality and pace of this second season is top notch and as good as the first season, most of the characters return and appear somewhere along the line, with an especially welcome return for D. B. Sweeney's character Goetz, who's character featured all too briefly in season one. There are plenty of twists and surprises and before you know it you've reached the final episode, which tries to wrap up all the loose ends in a mere 40 minutes, which is nowhere near sufficient enough time! It is extremely rushed, cramming in as much plot development as possible, and there are hints of closure at the end but the story can easily, and should rightfully, be continued for a third season, but the likelihood of this is unfortunately very very thin!

Jericho Season 2 23 May 2008
By Damaris
Format:DVD
Continuing the epic story of the town called Jericho, after a series of terroist attacks were made against America's population centers, Jericho, a small town in central America, was fortunate to survive the trials and tribulations, making things work for themselves, but jealous neighbours planned against them for thier food and holdings, leaving the end of season one in a perilous situation.

Now, the fight for Jericho's survial takes a new twist in season 2 as the new Allied States of America, steps forward to take control whilst reinvigorating the people. However, not everything is as it seems leaving Jake and the townsfolk of Jericho, to step forward to meet new challanges and intresting plot twists. The story continues....

Don't bother unless you want to be left on a cliffhanger with no ending. i get so fed up with these series that blow you away because there so good and then they don't complete the series it is so frustrating ie:alien nation.
The thing is it is brillant there is no two ways about it intrigue and suspense but no ending, in my opinion if the third series is done when your thinking of buying then buy it but if not don't bother as it really doesn't end, it leaves it in the middle with you wishing to know what happens but no chance of you ever knowing, and that why i only give it a three rating, otherwise it would be full marks.
