For every great manufacturer, this is a flagship. One masterpiece that defines them as an organization. For Lamborghini, it's been the Countach, the Murciélago, and now the Aventador. Ferrari has it's 458, Aston has the DB9, and Alfa has the Spyder.
However, just for fun hasn't really had one defining triumph. Until now. THIS is the Just for Fun Jeremy Clarkson Mask. Now, it may not have the biggest engine available, but due to it's incredibly lightweight cardstock construction, it has a staggering 750 brake horsepower per ton. That' Bugatti Veyron territory.
To test this, I've staged a dragrace between it, and all of the 'flagships' you saw earlier. It... Didn't go well.
Perhaps, though, it will fair better through the corners. I'm coming up on the hammerhead at 15....17 miles an hour, and as you can see, it's... OH MY GOD! I've gone off!
Now, what happened there is simple. On a normal car, the windscreen is of a fairly standard size, for two occupants to see out of. However, as you can see, on this mask, the bits you see out of are a tiny 4 centimetres. And that doesn't make for the best of visibility.
So, this may not be the trackday force of fire and brimstone, but as an everyday mask of entertainment value, it may truly be, the greatest mask....in the woooorld.
