I love it! Simple rebelling of a true story. This is a great resource for classroom teachers too! There are various aspects of the story which can be explored.

When I received this book, I didn't even bother to give it to my children so boring it was. The plot is very very basic - a little boy from the jungle was found by the gentleman and brought to the modern world. The boy was treated very well and enjoyed his stay, however he decided to go back to the juingle and he did. Probably the moral of the story is that though the modern society can offer you all the luxuary and comfort, you still want simple and beautiful things in life like gazing at the stars. If this is what the author wanted to teach the children, it's fine, however it's not very clear from the story and the author didn't show how much the jungle boy was missing and longing for his native land. Its not very emotional book though the story mostly appeals to the emotional side of the reader as long as there is not very much action in the story.

The Illustrations are quite unimaginative.
