Format:Audio CD
To all Petheads: This is the long awaited ROCKER from good old Petra. And Petra truly still means 'rock'.
Ten great songs, only one AC song. Lyrics of the kind that you don't have to think a lot about, to figure out what they're trying to say. Instead, lyrics that make you think: How can I make this true in my personal life?
Two bad things, though: The album is way too short. Only 31 minutes. And if you're looking for those trademark Bob Hartman guitar solos, forget it. These are fast paced songs.
Definitely a step in the right direction for Petra!

1: There actually are some riffs on this album, unlike what most other reviewers say, like on Life As We Know It and Stand for a start.
2: The lyrics are some of the most potent that Bob Hartman has ever written, such as Til Everything I Do and Woulda Coulda Shoulda.
3: John Schlitt doesnt sound a day older than he did on Back to the street over twenty years ago!
4: The rawness of this albums sound is a new approach for petra. this is perhaps their grittiest album to date!!!
5: short, easily accesible songs that deliver all the high points that make up a good album.
