I loved this book as a child - so much so that I insisted on calling our cat Jeffy (well actually I wanted to call it Little Lou, but my Father put his foot down as he wasn't going to call that out the back door - if you've read the book you'll understand!). A cat with a naughty owner, who tries to mend her ways, just lovely. A real original with plenty to make you smile. Have just bought it for my 4 year old as it's one I cherish from my childhood.

This was one of my favourites as a child. I think I read it about 20 times. It was damaged a few years ago, and I've been looking for a replacement ever since, so i'm so happy I found it here.
I'll treasure this book to read to my children, because it meant so much to me. It really is a fabulous read, and wonderful to read aloud.
