Very, very enjoyable. Clever, amusing, and terribly poignant in places, this was a very worthwhile purchase that I would certainly recommend to anyone considering buying it. Keith Waterhouse brilliantly captures the oft-inebraited voice of Jeffrey Bernard, and his transition between the multitude of other characters (intended to be played by just four actors) is expertly done. I personally saw many similarities between Bernard and the title character of "Withnail and I", and would bet that, if you enjoyed that, you'll enjoy this.
