Keep your worries: brilliant! Angie sings well as always and the rap is pure poetry.
Hustlin' daze: This one grew on me it's very soft hip-hop old style and Donell Jones' voice is really smooth.
All I said: I'm not usually a Macy fan but this one grew on me and the beat is phat!
Certified: my absolute fav. The beat is wicked, Bilal is ace and the chorus is so soulful. It's feel good soul and such a singalong, tap your feet track. Really catchy!!
Plenty: What can I say this one oozes class and highlights the jazz element. Its fun & sexy and Badu is awesome.
No more: I love this, it's a dancey/ r&b track and Craig David sounds as good as ever if not better!
Mashin' up da world: I have only just started to really love this, its gritty but not all drugs and pimps, a really strong message.
Overall I love Guru's style and his choice of artist on all the songs is spot on(Issac Hayes Nigh vission is the funniest track) some of the artists I hadn't heard about before but this album got me interested (Bilal for example) I also love Guru's voice it is understandable and masculin but not too terrifying like Ja-rule & Busta rhymes.
A MUST BUY. A rare rap album that most people wouldn't object to (the worst curse, although used quite regularly, is s*it) Listen to the words, he doesn't just moan about the world & the ghettos and then go on about hoes and how much money he has, like some commercial rappers, but discusses the issues and it isn't violent either.
