This anthology spans a career in music and poetry. Nougaro drew his musical inflences from many sources, and latin and African rhythms mingle with the Gallic in a way no other artist has been able to match. Nougaro's lyrics are perfection.. poetic, strong, tender. the voice unmatched, the subjects varied, unusual.. and often with humour. Three discs of sheer delight!
