Jayne Irvings Step to Weight Loss,
By Phil Burke (England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Jayne Irving-Step to Weight [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video is fantastic, the pace is really slow and the instructions clear, the instructor gives lots of advance notice about when she's going to change the pattern of stepping which leads to less confusion, not like some step videos which have you falling over your feet and throwing your arms around in the air. Step is all about control, so the more you control your muscle movements the greater the result. Probably more suited to the beginner although those more advanced can introduce ankle and wrist weights to add to the intensity, those more advanced may find it a little boring. The video also gives five minute time checks on the clock so you know exactly how long you have to go, great to keep you motivated.

I've been trying to replace this tape for years! Although it feels slow going I found it to be an excellent workout. It is very clear & easy to watch whilst doing the routine, which is where a lot of these tapes go wrong.I have bought others & they all remain on the shelf!!! If you want a simple, easy to follow workout this is for you!

Happy stepping,

This review is from: Jayne Irving-Step to Weight [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I step every day and was looking for different routines when I bought this. A bit slow and steps are not always counted rigourously. I would recommend this to anyone thinking about learning how to step as everything is explained slowly and surely and is easy to keep up with and follow. Would not suit anyone experienced looking for a really hard workout but it can be adapted with weights etc. I would recommend it for beginners or intermediate steppers. Have fun!
