Product Description

The Jaxville Custom series are renowned for their artwork and this model will help you stand out from the crowd with its sharp, detailed 'Demon' design. A classic strat style body shape with black based design under a rich red tribal pattern with a dark twist, accompanied by a black scratch plate and headstock the Jaxville Demon is sure to catch the eye. We can't guarantee you'll play like a demon, but you'll certainly look the part!

This classic shaped guitar is popular worldwide for it's sleek contoured body making it comfortable to play whether you're sitting at home on the sofa or standing on the stage. It's double cut-aways make it easier for you to reach those high notes on the neck as well as adding to the distinctive look with it's two 'horns'. The Jaxville 'Demon' is an extremely versatile guitar with the capability to play all styles from all genres. It features three single coil pickups which will shape your sound. Select the neck pickup from the 5 way selector switch for a louder, more mellow and warmer sound used frequently by former Guns n Roses guitarist Slash. For a brighter sharper sound to play like Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmore, simply switch to the bridge pickup. Many other guitarists including Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler will prefer somewhere in between by selecting position two or four which uses either both the neck and middle pickup or the middle and bridge pickup respectively. Another feature of this guitar is it's included tremolo arm, sometimes known as a 'Whammy Bar' used by many guitarists from Neil Young to Metallica. Add this to the two tone and volume controls and you really can play any sound to suit your style.

This guitar is the first guitar I've ever bought, I bought it around Christmas time 2012 and I have to say, I don't regret it, playing songs on this guitar feels absolutely brilliant and the sexy sleek look of it makes it even better. If I would have to say anything bad about this guitar, it would be the Glossy Neck of the guitar, the Glossy neck makes it easier to grip but harder to slide your hand down the neck, one way around this is sanding the gloss off of the neck, after I did that it was much easier to play.

Considering the price I was expecting this to be cheap and bad quality. Its great. It sounds great it looks great its lightweight and overall is great. The only downside is that there were 1 or 2 scratches on the body and head of the guitar, however it does not affect the guitar and I think it was simply because of cheap packaging. I'm very happy with this product :)

I had a few issues with this order. I ordered the Demon six-string version, but a bass version was delivered instead. I contacted the seller, and they advised it would take approx 5-6 weeks to deliver the version I ordered. After a bit of consideration, I asked if it was possible to change the order for the Hades version instead, which I was also interested in, and a week later I became the proud owner of the Jaxville Custom Series II Hades guitar, complete with strap, spare strings, picks & lead. With other guitars I've bought in the past, I've got a guitar and nothing more (including my £500 Peavey Void). Everything else had to be bought seperately, or I've had to do a bit of haggling for the extras to be included in the deal (you can only do that in music shops!). Very good customer service from the seller, I could not have asked for better.

The Hades is exactly the same guitar as the Demon, the only difference being the graphic on the body, the rest of the specs are identical, so this review covers both guitars equally.

The guitar itself was a surprise, to be sure. I have played a few guitars in my 25 years of playing, at present I play a Peavey Void guitar. I wanted something which sounded a bit brighter, since the Peavey is a growling beast, harsh and powerful when distorted and deep & soulful when clean, thanks to it's excellent active humbucker pickups. The single coil pickups in the Demon/Hades are much cleaner and brighter than humbuckers, which makes notes stand out rather than muffling them the way humbuckers do, perfect for soloing and clean, crystal clear chords.
