Tonal controls, selector switch and tremolo arm
Find your sound

All styles at the flick of a switch

The Jaxville 'Demon' is an extremely versatile guitar with the capability to play all styles from all genres. It features three single coil pickups which will shape your sound. Select the neck pickup from the 5 way selector switch for a louder, more mellow and warmer sound used frequently by former Guns n Roses guitarist Slash. For a brighter sharper sound to play like Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmore, simply switch to the bridge pickup. Many other guitarists including Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler will prefer somewhere in between by selecting position two or four which uses either both the neck and middle pickup or the middle and bridge pickup respectively. Another feature of this guitar is it's included tremolo arm, sometimes known as a 'Whammy Bar' used by many guitarists from Neil Young to Metallica. Add this to the tweaking possible with the two tonal controls and you really can play any sound to suit your style.

10 Watt Practice Amp
Practice any time, anywhere.

The Amp

Practice in your bedroom, garage, or almost anywhere you wish. Easliy transported with it's light-weight construction and strong carry handle. Plug your headphones in to keep the peace, or crank the volume to 10 to show off those licks. I am a guitar teacher and have several pupils turn up with their respective guitars.
When a student turned up with a jaxville and said they'd bought it in Toys r Us I was expecting a heap of rubbish.
This is not the best guitar in the world but is a great guitar for beginners.
I know how parents feel when their kid says they want to play guitar.
They don't want to spend a packet as they think the kid might play it a bit and lose interest and the money will be wasted.
This guitar is easy to play and stays in tune well.
The overall sound is good enough though maybe not top notch is good enough to allow the learner to progress with his /her playing.
I had a pupil who had a guitar that was bought from Argos and the sound was horrible and was thwarting their playing ( thankfully they have bought a better guitar and their playing has much improved)
My pupil who has the jaxville has come along in their playing ability and this is partly down to this guitar.
A bad guitar will hinder your learning ( I know, my first guitar was rubbish) but this guitar, for the price, is a very good guitar for the price.
I don't know what the amp of the DVD is like but is a good starter pack for the kids.

I've recently brought this guitar and as soon as a received it, nothing was wrong. The packing and cover looked awesome and once you open it all. The guitar is a beast, perfect quality, perfect sound and perfect design. The amp is quite weak but enough if your blasting some songs in your house. DVD helps alot and comes with repair kit incase any strings get damaged. What more do you need from a beastly guitar. I would recommend this for people looking for a guitar that is not so expensive yet produces the sounds of £500 guitars.

I bought this as it looked great. Unfortunately, the quality is not up to scratch- poor pickups that do not sound good, even with a good quality amp. Doesn't stay in tune for long and the wood used for this guitar is poor. Not a very good action for playing and the supplied amplifier is of poor quality. Get something better if you can.

Was bought as a Christmas present and my daughter absolutely adores it, great value for money and the designs make it much more appealing to teenagers and those that want a bit more than the mundane.

Item arrived broken in the box. Was clear that this damage had happened in the factory (as there was no external damage to the box the item came in. Asked for, and received a full refund. Very disappointing as this was a main Christmas present :(

this is a good guitar as it looks and sounds great but sadly after having it for only a few days and it only been used a handful of times, the jack on the side to plug into the amp went inside of the guitar, took an hour of fiddling to get it out, other than that its fine.

The guitar is great and my 16 year old loved it (he's had the guitar for two years now and no problems at all), but our great disappointment was the carry case which is too small (lengthwise) and ripped at the very top the first time my son was packing it to take it to his friends. I just don't understand why would the company try to save money (and material) on something like this to spoil their product reviews. Very disappointing.
