Product Description

Jason Marriner was one of Britain's most feared football hooligans. Known as The General, he was a key member of the notorious Chelsea Head Hunters and was jailed for 6 years after the BBC's Donal McIntyre infiltrated his firm.

This must be the most criminal act that Jason Mariner has ever commited . Ironically I should really commend him and his agent/manager for cashing in on his so called notoriety. In truth, this was just an abject and embarrassing illustration of self indulgent waffle. There was little content of any substance, few facts that could be substantiated even if one would dare to believe them. Indeed the entire DVD is designed solely as some form of innane retribution towards the controversial BCC journalist/reporter Donal McIntyre, but to what end?

In summary the format, content and context were incredibly weak and grossly disappointing. Yet what should one have expected from a convicted hooligan? The entire documentary lacked objectivity and meaningful insights, so the viewer is left wondering, what exactly was its purpose? As he states he is "just a bloke".

It might have been marginally improved if Mariner could have mustered more than 4 consistently daft and annoying expressions throughout his relentless ranting diatribe. In truth it was just a case of a middle aged has-been who is stood in a doorway of some back street suburb reflecting on past so-called glories without the content, conviction or material to provide any benefit to the viewer. A complete and utter waste of time and money. I implore you not to waste yours on this waste of space.
