Artichoke 500 Extract is standardized to contain 5% total caffeoylquinic acids. Dr. Oz and my Doctor both recommended this for high LDL. It works! Down 30 points. It does have a side effect...soft poop.

This is what Doc Oz was speaking of, artichokes help lower cholesterol. It is really good and well worth it, no chemicals!!!!!

Did not work for lowering bad cholesterol but great as a laxative

I took 4 of these a day for a month and no meat.
I for dinners i ate an egg white omelet every other day and alternating with 4 veggy tacos with cheese on top... and canned veggies for lunch every day. light margarine for flavor or a table spoon of Alfredo sauce.
I stuck to this very low fat diet all month and my bad cholesterol at the beginning of the month was 177. The fish oil did raise my good cholesterol 1 point. Doctors want to see my bad below 100.
Fast forward a month and my level went from 177 up to 183. Only other difference was... I was taking 4 fish oil capsules daily.
So my conclusion is... this product does not work to lower the bad cholesterol. But one side effect I was rather pleased with was its ability to work as a natural laxative. and it seems many found the same side effects useful. But one can take MILK THISTLE for same effects. And is cheaper.
