PUZZLE BOX FACTS: Myth has it that the Japanese Puzzle Boxes were used to store valuables and secret letters by samurais and nobles. The Japanese Puzzle Box movements vary form two to more than seventy moves. Our puzzle boxes are sourced and imported directly from Japan. Yosegi technique is designated as the traditional handcraft by The Ministry of International Trade and Industry, May 1984. The Japanese Puzzle Box is a winner of the Regional (Great Britain) Prize in the
Souvenirs of Japan Contest 2008 by The Ministry of Japan Tourism Agency.
