I have been chasing this lovely book for some years. The Netsuke collection at the V&A is superb and they have a copy of this book on display behind glass but it has been out of print for a while. Some lovely images from different angles and sometimes much closer than you can see them in real life because of the display restrictions (distance behind the glass and you can't see it from all angles. Would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Japanese culture, especially Netsuke.

I really enjoy the books produced by the V&A and this one is no exception. The book covers the V&A's famous netsuke collection, with good explanations for each one. The photos are superb, as you'd expect!
