Good starter book for great food,

This is one of the most straightforward books I have used to date to try out Japanese cooking. One of the drawbacks is that some of the ingredients are hard to find eg tonkatsu sauce if you don't live near a major connurbation or have relatives in Japan, but you can get these recipes on line if needed. Very clear illustrations and directions. Plus delicious results and not that hard either.
