This book and the entire series has lots of useful words, phrases and methods. I'm constantly using the texts for practice and re-referring to them for grammar checks, spelling, vocabularly and listening practice. When this book, and the entire Japanese for Busy People series, is used to suppliment other methods of study, it is invaluable.

I have almost finished this book and the style and aim with which it has been written it does achieve it quite well. I am sure its difficulty level can be increased quite easily but the style the authors have had in mind to teach Japanese to 'Busy People', this book does it well. If you want an easy ride with Japanese rather than a steep slope learning curve, buy this one.

This workbook is exceptionally dull and would put anyone sincerely interested in Japanese to sleep. I would love to see something less formulaic and dry. There is little imagination or creativity put into planning these books.
