It's difficult to be completely negative about a CD that costs less than a pint of beer so I will just deal with a few useful facts. Firstly the sound is pretty terrible, but not unlistenable (think very good quality bootleg pulled straight from the mixing desk). There is both distortion and drop outs, which is not disimilar to the effect that you'd get if you left a cassette on a TV for a year or were listening from the bottom of a swimming pool, and the lack of producer credits speaks volumes. Secondly the last two tracks don't appear on the CD, despite what it says, which is particularly annoying if you were hankering after the more elusive Paris is Burning, pre signing, track. Thirdly it's a typical Japanese live recording, so don't expect an ecstatic in your face crowd backdrop and entertaining inter song banter (the banter that is left in actually seems inappropriate for a more reserved Japanese audience)- it genuinely sounds as if they are playing to an empty room for most of this. Finally it is, however, an enjoyable amalgamation of the slow reworkings found on One Night Live and the all-out metal attacks of the likes of Kiss of Death and It's Not Love. So its worth having but it's not really a fitting legacy for a monumentally talented band.
