For a bargain basement sewing machine the Janome 2200XT is packed full of features.
My wife has gone into creative overdrive making everything from washing bags to summer dresses all with lots of great detail made possible by the variety of stitch functions built into this machine.
It's a dream to use (so I'm told) and there are already plans afoot to adorn our 10 week old daughters bedroom with all manner of home crafted pink frilliness....

I have 2 Janome machines and have been delighted with both. I am trading in one of them for the " Horizon " as I need a bigger throat to quilt larger projects. I decided to buy this smaller machine as I have developed a back problem and need a lighter one to take to workshops.As I have always been delighted with Janome machines I was keen to get another one if I could.
I only purchased the machine yesterday and it arrived this morning - amazing service. !! I have been playing on it this afternoon and am delighted with the performance The only niggle at the moment is the wheel is a little stiff.
I think this machine would suit a beginner and someone who like me needs a lighter machine to take to workshops.
