This item looked good on the web and some of the reviews were promising. When we assembled it on Christmas Eve I was appalled at the poor instructions and the quality of the plywood used to make the shelves was in my view not good enough. It must be 3-4mm thick, it was not cut to the correct size and I don't think the shelves will take the wear and tear inflicted by 3-4 yr old toddlers.
I would not recommend this product. Unfortunately we bought it mid October before we went on holidays, so fall outside the Amazon Returns period.

I bought this kitchen for my kids in a shop in Edinburgh. Before taking it home, I opened the box with the sales assistant to ensure everything was there. I found one of the knobs broken, but the sales assistant replaced it straight away. When we got home we tried to assamble the kitchen, however, the instructions are very poor. The clock had a broken hand and unit's legs wheren't the same lenth. I ended up putting a piece of paper under one of the legs to make it stable. For what I paid I would expect better, but as my daughter loves it, it will be staying with us!

Absolutely lovely toy, it is for our 2 1/2 year old who is not the gentlest of souls but it is solid and he loves playing with it. The accessories are good and overall great kit. one drawback was the directions which werent that clear but not a major problem
