Burt Boyar (New York City 1927)was a teen age radio actor, playing Archie on "Archie Andrews", Dexter Franklin on "Corliss Archer" and appearing on many other
popular radio shows until in his mid-twenties he became a syndicated Broadway Columnist and wrote a weekly column for TV GUIDE. He developed a close friendship with Sammy Davis, Jr. which led to him and his wife, Jane, writing Sammy's 1965 groundbreaking, worldwide best selling autobiography YES I CAN. Following that was the novel WORLD CLASS set in the world of international tennis, then WHY ME? a sequel to Yes I CAN, and while living on the Costa Del Sol in Spain the historically important untold World War II story, HITLER STOPPED BY FRANCO. Their last book together before Jane passed away was the romantic novel INVISIBLE SCARS . Burt has just published a memoir, BLESSED describing his life with Jane and Sammy Davis, Jr., the Franco family of Spain and numerous Hollywood stars such as Cary Grant and Marlene Dietrich.
