The baby’s head is positioned right in the centre but because of the special shape the baby has mobility to turn his head without being exposed to malformations, in the event of the baby sleeping on one side more than the other. Stage 2: Anti-choking cushion. Lets the baby breathe correctly thanks to the special perforated inner foam that allows air to pass through and improves breathability.

I was concerned about my baby developing a flat head so bought this pillow and used the first stage from the day he got home from hospital when he was lying down - crib and playmat. The theory is good and maybe it works if your baby never moves its head, but my son slept with his head lying to one side and so this pillow has actually given him a bit of a flat head because where his head was turned it was flattened in the very early days when his skull was so soft by the pillow. So I'm rather disappointed - and when I became wise to the fact that this was happening, I did try turning his head when he was asleep but he would always move back. I then bought the Lilla Kuddis pillows and it hasn't got any worse, so I think I would be tempted to try them from the start next time as they are just like a traditional pillow so no raised bits like with this one.
