I started 'jamming' about five years ago and have had to settle for books with just a few recipes and a short summary of the process.

This book is much better than all of my others put together! It provides detailed information about fruits and vegetables, together with the necessary tips on how to ensure a good set with a wide range of produce.

There are a number of more imaginative recipes to choose from and I itching to give some of them a go!

The third main section of the book is dedicated to chutneys and, again, there are a number of interesting recipes included. However, I have to confess that 'chutneying' is not something that I have ever attempted, therefore I feel unqualified to comment this content.
