4.0 out of 5 stars Good kit - but is is large 15 Sep 2010

I remember my mum using an old fashioned one of these and being really scared that it would blow up.

Having used this to brown the meat and then make a beef goulash - it was easy to use, great to wash-up and not at all scary.

I have marked this a four for two reasons.

    1) The recipe book has some nice ideas but not convinced that they are designed for the 'family' in mind - can't imagine my child eating much but they give you an understanding on timings.

    2) It is a big bit of kit. Haven't found a cupboard big enough to put it in!

Nice product to use and simple.

4.0 out of 5 stars Jamie Oliver Multi Cook 7 Nov 2010
Was looking to buy a new pressure cooker and at first the price put me off but changed my mind and bought it. I am so glad I did as it is a fantastic pressure cooker. Put in the ingredients - set the digital screen and away it goes - no waiting for it to come to pressure and turning it down - everything is automatic and silent. Yesterday made soup for lunch and chicken curry for dinner without any effort and today a whole chicken cooked in 30 minutes.( Don't eat the skin so not bothered by the colour)
If you are looking for a pressure cooker this is the one to buy.
Agree with another review that the cook book is not very good but having used a pressure cooker for years not a problem to me but for people who have not had one before it is not very helpful hence the 4 stars.

Very good quality and easy to use. Just need to put the ingredients and set the timer, then wait for the delicious food. No need to worry about forgetting turn off the stove any more.

~An excellent product. However the instructions and the recipe book are poor, otherwise I would have given it the full five starts.
