I had mine as a gift and used it like 5 times. I had some problems though.
The level changer shifted to the thickest level when used. Thus I had to hold the level changer manually while rolling the pasta and really needed three hands. I checked different machines in the shop and found that some of them were all right, but far from all. Be aware that the tap is like 5mm long otherwise you might have the same problem as I. Another problem was that the rolls were not parallel and the pasta moved slightly to one side. This can be checked by setting the maker to the thinnest level and observe the rolls. After checking some JO pasta makers and other makers, I decided to return mine and pay a bit more to have one of better quality.
