gorgeous stories with lovely illustrations which despite not being action packed really appealed to my five and a half year old son.

My children love the original Jamie and Angus stories and this installment carries on in the same vein and does not disappoint at all. Perfect stories.

She's a lovely writer who I always thought wrote for older children. But these are perfect bedtime stories.Jamie lives in a normal, gentle family and he does all the things my children do, but each story somehow ends up charming and funny. The stories are just the right length, too. Can't recommend this highly enough as perfect bedtime reading for anyone from 4 to 6. Sweet pictures too from Penny Dale (the Ten in a Bed illustrator).
