And not forgetting The Man Lab Christmas Special!  Cutting your Christmas Tree with explosives; making the perfect Man Lab Christmas Lunch with Man Lab Christmas Crackers, real snow and more surprises for your guests.

5.0 out of 5 stars More From The Man Lab. 25 Nov 2012
By The Neon Weasel TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
James and the boys are back for a second series of problem solving, inventing things you never knew you needed, and providing plenty of laughs and entertainment along the way.Second time around, some of the many things we learn are how to make your own pool table, how to bring back a rock group who never made it the first time around, and how to make the boiler suit not just fashionable, but the only item of clothing any man will ever need.As with the first series it is James May who holds the whole thing together, his affable presenting style and sence of humour are what makes the show work,he really is one of the most likable people on the tv at the moment.Hes joined by his presenting and sparring-partner Oz Clarke,as they attempt to escape from Dartmoor Prison, while endlessly squabbling, and also in the Christmas Special, which thankfully is also included.

Offering up almost 5 hours of entertainment, series 2 is every bit as good as series 1,so I can safely say if you liked that one your going to like this second helping. So what are you waiting for,get back in the lab.

5.0 out of 5 stars Manly 29 Jan 2013
Format:DVD
Very funny and full of useless but informative information nonetheless. Similar feel to Top Gear - blunt, tongue in cheek and occasionally politically incorrect. What else are you going to do on a Sunday afternoon? The Christmas episode is particularly entertaining, be it Xmas or not

Just as good as the first series. Loved the series, interesting to see how they made the objects. Done with a touch of humour. Something for the men, but women may like it too,

4.0 out of 5 stars Background music different...hurts quality 14 Jun 2013

The background music for all the episodes are different from the original seen on the BBC. It doesn't seem like a big deal, considering the show itself is top notch, but especially noticeable in the Christmas special and during the prison escape in episode 1. I think the Christmas special is hurt the most because the music was so relevant and the songs used were really good ones. I suppose it has something to do with the BBC having to pay more for the rights to use the music in DVDs that are sold for a profit.
