4.0 out of 5 stars Four cracking stories. 18 Oct 2012
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Titan books continue their releases of the James Bond Daily Express newspaper strips with four more stories in this their tenth release.
As per usual we are given an introduction by a Bond lumiere, this time in the form of the delightful Martine Beswicke.
Then we have an interesting piece about the women of James Bond from the comic strip.
The first of the actual strips is "Trouble Spot", followed by "Isle Of Condors", "League Of Vampires" and the collection is rounded out with "Die With My Boots On". All these stories were originally published in the early 1970's so expect some sensibilities of the time to creep into the stories.
Great fun. Recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Read but with out the latest thrills 26 Mar 2010
By Cool Guy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book is a collection of four short stories which appeared as comic strips on news papers, and they don't feature latest thrills you might be used if you are a fan of bond from recent movies. I thought James Bond is more gullible and probably lacked basic trust skills in these stories, he picked up these skills later , usual with beautiful girls always in most parts. Its classic Bond set in the 50-70 the stories are simple, with a decent plots which seem to be same from one story to another but still offer a good read. Certainly recommend to any one who likes bond and graphic novels.
