Product details

1. Jambo - McLinn, Claude
2. Jambo (Instrumental Version) - McLinn, Claude

Product Description

• Ace is proud to release one of the weirdest and wackiest singles ever recorded.

• ‘Jambo’ features Claude McLin’s lunatic yet brilliant attempt to verbalise the sound of a jew’s harp – and if you think that’s easy, then have a go yourself to the instrumental karaoke version.

• The track has already featured in the movie "Dodgeball" and more recntly on Sky TV’s "Malcolm In The Middle". Danny Baker has featured the song regularly on his radio show, with listeners phoning in to attempt to sing along.

• Taken from the Ace CD "Great Googa Mooga" (CDCHD 880) which features another 20-odd slices of nonsensical verbal!

It is indeed the song used in Dodgeball... 7 Aug. 2006
By Miss Tayva - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
I remember it clearly, as it is a very obscure song. I have it on a compilation of obscure music that was made in the UK... and had heard it for the first time not too long before we rented Dodgeball. I had fallen asleep during the movie, but my at-the-time husband woke me up to show me that the song was in the movie! We thought it was a rather strange pick for a soundtrack, because it's not a well-known piece of music.

I think it's awesome that Ace released this... however, I'm a bit brought down that it's on CD, and not pressed on vinyl. I think a 45 of this would be more collectible... and judging from the type of people that buy music from the Ace label, people would go for it.

Poor 20 Jun. 2006
By C. L. Cyburt - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This is not the song from Dodgeball the Movie. I was very upset to find out that it wasn't. I found the Lyrics by this artist to make sure and those are not any of the lyrics from the movie.
