Aired on Channel 4 in 2000, written by Chris Morris and featuring the same team as its radio precursor, jam pushes the boundaries of television comedy further than any other show has done for many years.

jam retains the same macabre subject matter and ambient soundtracks as Blue Jam and presents the material in a sequence of distorted, disorienting visuals.

Very dark humour indeed.

This comedy series has a very different feel from almost any other thing I've watched. The whole thing is unique and definitely needs to be seen.

The only worry is that some people will not find this funny at all. They'll be very disturbed by some of the scenes.

Worth checking up on youtube to see some of the scenes before you buy - it's very possible that you won't like it.

Dark Humour 15 Mar 2009
i'm a fan of dark humour. and this is the darkest. not a show for the fainthearted or easily upset, this show makes fun of abortions, murder, rape, suicide, sexual accidents leading to death.... everything.

saw this on TV very late one night in the UK and laughed until i cried. the rest of the people int he room were horrified. this gives you an idea of what the "average" person would respond like.

more obscure and dark then Big Train or Brass Eye, this show is warped, in a beautiful and sick way.

By Stephen
A dark shadow walking down the street. A women dancing high on drugs to the sound of the beeping of the life support machine which is keeping her child alive. A car crash with a dead body under a blanket in which there is a women under the blanket giving the corpse a cuddle. All to the sound of Chris M speaking a hunting sermon while laying on a slab in a mortuary. And this is only the opening credits. If you thought Monkey Dust was dark then this is deepest darkest dark. But if you liked Monkey dust then this is for you.
This is the blackest comedy i've ever seen. Subects like Rape, incest, death, violence, suicide, illness, are all subjects in this comedy, yes thats right comedy. Even the parts which are not dark are surreal. If you think ITV is a good channel and its your favourite then you will not like this at all!!! and if you are very open minded then this is probaby not for you either. But if you have never been offened by anything on tv, well anything that was worth watching, then this could be for you.
