5.0 out of 5 stars We never tire of jam! 4 April 2009
Format:Paperback
I found this book in a second hand shop one summer holiday and my kids (then 3 and 5) adored it and I had to read it over and over and over to them. It's a story about a family who have a plum tree in their garden and who make jam from it. They make so much jam they fill every empty container in the house and eat it for the rest of the year in EVERYTHING. They use it as glue, they have dreams about jam, they even start to look like round little jam pots. Finally they are on the last jar and excited about eating other foods again. Until...... yes, you guessed it, outside the plums are ripe. Again. It's short and sweet and fun this book. We lost it! So here I am purchasing it for the second time :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this book! 3 Jun 2010

I LOVE this book! I read it as a child; we used to check it out of our local library every week and I've been looking for it for the last few years. Every once in awhile an image from the book hits me. It always makes me want to eat toast and jam. So glad to have finally found it.

The pictures and descriptions are vivid and the storyline is unique and interesting. I can't wait to read this book with my child!
