here's my main complaint.
I don't read music very well at all.
I read tablature pretty ok.
The CDs are with lead or without.
but there are riffs that are hard to read in music or tab.
and you have a heck of a time-- as much hassle as lifting the tonearm of your record player to find just the right spot
you want to hear--figuring out how to play the part just from tab.
It requires that you really know the tune, the guitar part, thoroughly in your mind.
some people are that fantatical, or dedicated, but most of us just want some insight into Knopflers style.
We want to choose a tune, now and then, and have a fairly easy time of the method for learning.
Not have to listen to each note played, memorizing, or having to keep dinking with the cd player controls to find
what you need clarified.
It seems very accurate. Everything I've gone through part of-- because going through all of any one tune is not much fun--has been spot on.
It's not user friendly. Accurate, even complete, yes. I plan to do one tune per week.
That's kinda slow, I think. But concentrating on hearing the music by the Straits, then working on it bit by bit, should pan out
I like the effort on the practice side, not the tone arm lifting side.
