A grandfather imparts wisdom to the youngsters, reflecting upon his childhood pranks and stories in Ireland. It's heartwarming, gives a positive message and educates all at once. Mel Brooks provides the voice of an intelligent (ish..>) sheep, but mainly provides humour and a few laughs! It really has been a major part of my 4 year olds upbringing (for 2 yrs) and is (relatively) unknown to the masses. My little ones still watch these even after 2 years (when all other programmes have been updated & discarded). Weird faces on the characters (but not in a scary way!), but see past that, & you will find a real, rare treat.
